Large totally original Curlew hunting decoy. This bird is hand carved with raised wing and tail details also its head is slightly turned.Made from thick stock its 3 1/2" thick x 15" long. Mid Atlantic. Hunting these migratory birds and other shoerbirds was banned in 1918. Great example.
