A really cool early American bottle in the form of a pepper with stem. The lip is recessed somewhat. The green glass that it is made from is very early looking it reminds of glass used to make some of the New England chestnut bottles and in fact it was found in NE many years ago by a bottle collector. It is 7" long with a tooled lip or neck pinched and manipulated ito a pepper with a stem and pontiled on the end. It dates before 1860 a true rarity! .
