1 pint size splint wood with tin rim berry basket. Signed on lower metal band "D COOKS PAT , JULY 12th 1857, UNION MFG Co. NEW HAVEN CT". The splint is 100% intact. Splint is not broken. The basket measures 4"tall and at the top of the tin rim it measures 4 1/4" I have seen this basket listed as a Shaker Basket.Prestine little basket with wonderful form and design. There was a Shaker Settlement In our area Settled by Ann Lee called the Watervliet Settlement
