Found together are 2 circa 1940s flasks blown by Emil Larson of Vinland New Jersey. The green one is rare it has a diamond pattern with a slight interior haze the amethyst flask is pattern molded. Both are 4 1/2" I think they are about 1/2 pt. each. Much could be said about Mr Larson an artist without a doubt. As a master gaffer he worked for Durand he also made one of the best early Millville Roses when employed by Whitall Tatum. These flasks are reminiscence of the early pocket flasks made in the 18th century at Stiegel and other 18th century glass factories.
