Early walnut Pa hanging wall box with sulfur or wax inlay of Bird, Cross, Anchor, Heart the Date etc..1749 tall dovetailed case with removable shelf , witches hat top. Exceptional example of an early American multi purpose kitchen item. I'm assuming its a hanging scrub box/ candle holder an storage area. I suppose a grease lamp could also be hung from it. Very old horse hide glue repair to removable shelf. Museum quality must see to appreciate..
