Large and early New Jersey stoneware jar approx.. 3 gallons with rare brushed ochre decoration and rare crimped applied handles. 10" over 8lbs. One large surface kiln burst from stone or air in the clay when fired. No cracks or chips just a couple pock marks.Proably dates about 1805-1820
