Year: 19th century - early 20th century
I havent been able to find anything exactly like this, it is a 26" long wooden stick designed to stick in the ground in tall grasses along with traditional full bodied decoys for hunting. Possibly American Indian. The head may be saw dust and some glue or other compound mixed and hand sculpted. That or its hand carved, there is a small flake near one of the eyes that make me think it was shaped rather than carved. The head is the size of my fist, very cool!Enquire!
