A interesting small slide lidded box found in a local SJ farm a number of years ago.I appears to be quite early and is well constructed from pine.The corners are dovetailed and tiny hand made nails were addes as was a chip caved decoration on all sides.Made like a small candle box but who knows how it was usedA little gem with a great patinia! 5” long,3”wide,2”high.
