Rare S.J. 18th Century Utility Bottle

Year: 1750-1800

Weight:1.5 lbs

Early South Jersey Utility bottle probably late 18th century, possibly Wistarburgh Glass Factory but probably made in Glassboro New Jersey 1780-1810.What makes this bottle rare is the clear lip although the clear glass is hard to notice it is clear. It is difficult to notice because the aqua of the bottle is pale it reflexs the aqua under it. Both Wistar and Hestons factory used clear glass in limited quanities.Great early Jersey bottle in great condition,in a appealing early form. There is a light interier stain about 1/3 of the way up it can be seen in the photo.
